Oktober Fest
Oktober Fest is upon us. Fire up the grill. Roast those bratworst over an open flame. Drink your beverage of choice and celebrate the moment.
Oktoberfest officially started at 12:00 pm on Saturday, September 21st, which was marked by the tapping of the first keg in the Shottenhammel tent, the traditional opening event. The keg tapping is a very old tradition, in which the mayor of Munich personally "taps" the first barrel of Oktoberfest beer. Oktoberfest goes until October 6th, 2002.
